Renita Michelle Brockman, 55, transitions from this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital. Renita was born in High Point, NC, on February 16, 1968. She was born to Rev. Howard Brockman and the late Catherine Moffitt Brockman. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andre Brockman; her grandfathers, Robert Brockman and Lawrence Moffitt; and her grandmothers, Hattie Brockman and Nannie Lee Capel.
Renita attended the Guilford County Public Schools. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had a passion for singing. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching wrestling and football and spending quality time with her family. Renita was a lovable person, and she had a heart full of love that touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Surviving relatives to cherish Renita Michelle Brockman memories: her father, Rev. Howard Brockman of High Point, NC; her sister and caregiver, Deborah Issac (Ronald) of Greensboro, NC; her brother, Bryant Brockman (Lisa) of High Point, NC; her uncles, Jarvis Glenn Capel, and Benjamin Brockman; her aunts, Joyce Hairston, Cora Smith, Lottie Brockman and Parthenia Brown, all of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
