Mrs. Patricia Annette (Mock) Murray was born on November 6, 1942, to the late Belvin J. Mock, Sr., and Daisy Lee (Bennett) Mock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Murray; one daughter, Donna Lynn Murray; three sisters, Brenda Joyce Mock, Josephine Mock, and Rosetta Mock; two brothers, Belvin J. Mock, Jr., and Mitchell B. Mock.
Patricia was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she expressed her love for the Lord through her regular attendance. She received her education at Jamestown Public Schools and graduated from William Penn High School, where she shined as a majorette. She also attended beauty school.
Patricia worked at Daniel Brooks Daycare Center until she relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, where she earned a certificate as a Geriatrics Nursing Assistant (GNA) and obtained a position at Armacost Nursing Facility. After sustaining a work-related injury, she decided to move back to North Carolina. She enjoyed attending the Adult Day Care Program (PACE), where she played bingo and participated in various activities.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Mary B. Kelly; one brother, Ronald E. Mock; three sons, Curtis (Julie) E. Murray of Converse, TX; Kenneth W. Murray of Baltimore, MD; Christopher (Shauntey) J. Murray of Worton, MD; two daughters, Cheryl D. Murray and Pamela A Murray of Baltimore, MD; nine grandchildren, Sherita, Curtis Jr., Ryan, Mustafa, Jennifer, Kellie, William, Jennice and Christinia; twelve great-grandchildren; two very close friends, Ann Thomas and Joquita Mayfield and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
