Obituary For Bertha McClain
McClain, Mrs. Bertha, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00AM from Phillips-Riley Chapel, Pastor Monte D. Maddox, officiating with a burial following in Brassell Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and services.

I haven't seen Bertha for many years, she's the most wonderful person that I ever known sweet personality we use to talk at the bus stop, in Gibbs village,and she use to cook them collar greens at Morrison cafeteria. She will be truly missed Dorothy williams, Sandy/Hickman Street communities.
