Obituary For Bettye Gamble Snead
Snead, Mrs. Bettye, A resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00AM from Phillips-Riley Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Calvin Williams, officiating Burial will follow in Calvary Missionary Baptist Churchyard Cemetery.
Mrs. Snead will lie in state on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Snead will also will receive her final committal rite inside The Calvary Baptist Church where she was a devoted member for many years.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk ( e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

Bettye will be dearly missed at Calvary. Known her all my life. A true woman of God. She was not only beautiful on the outside but inside as well . My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. God had called another angel home. Rosa Coleman and family.
