Crooms, Mrs. Brenda, a resident of Pike Road, AL, departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2:00PM from Phillips-Riley Chapel, Rev. Darryl Crooms,officiating.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and services.

Ciera Givens sent Garden of Memories for Brenda Sue Crooms - May 30, 2025
I'll never forget me running away to Ms. Brenda house with Darisha due to a disagreement I had with my mom. I was like 15 or 16. She told me straight up not to fight with my momma. But she still allowed me to stay over. She even had a talk with my mom and aunt about the situation. Darisha and I had become best friends at BTW and she got me my first job at McDonalds. I'll never forget those days of being around Ms. Brenda. It truly touched me how she was so loving and genuine toward me. Don't get me wrong she was stern. She didn't play. Lol. I'll never forget that particular experience though because she loved me enough to get involved because I was friends with her daughter. I know she is in a better place smiling down on her children, grandchildren and loved ones. My heart still however aches in her passing but her legacy will live on forever. I love you Darisha. May God give you, Deshawn your kids and family peace. God bless all Ms. Brenda family and friends. Until we meet again may your soul rest in peace Ms. Brenda I'll always love you
