Person, Mrs. Carolyn, a resident of Ramer, AL, departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00AM from the Sanctuary of Mt. Gillard Missionary Baptist Church(Ramer, AL ), Pastor Lorenza Moore, officiating with a burial following in Weeping Mary Cemetery.
Mrs. Person will lie in repose on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 1-8PM, and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.

On behalf of my sisters Dr. Mary Ann Larry DuPont, Catherine Louise Larry Lowe, their families and me, Deborah Delores Larry, we were heartbroken when we learned the passing of our beautiful, kind, caring and loving cousin Carolyn Stewart Person. We loved her and she loved us. We will always appreciate and remember her and her husband Checo for their warm hospitality and welcome when we visited them in their beautiful home in Ramer, Al. throughout the years. We appreciated them for always greeting us with a beautiful smile and kind words. We especially admired and appreciated Carolyn for being a shining light in continuous support of the Berry-Stewart Family Reunions and her role as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. We were so happy God gave us the opportunity to fellowship with her at our recent family reunion on July 17-19, 2026. We pray that God blesses her husband Checo, children Shameka and Jeffrey, siblings Elaine and Clinton Jr. their families and others who loved her with comfort, peace, love and understanding during their time of bereavement.
