Vinson, Mrs. Charlie Mae., a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Funeral serices will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00AM from the sanctuary of Jericho AME Zion Church,(5251 Hobbie Road, Montgomery, AL) Pastor George Garrison, officiant with a burial following in churchyard cemetery.
Mrs. Vinson will lie in repose on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home from 1-8PM, and at the church one hour prior to service.

Ms. Charlie Mae I will always remember and Love you. You brought so much joy into my life after I met you and Grandmother, Darlene, Sarita and Charla. You, I shall never forget how you and Grandmother taught me how to play the game Skip- Bo, the Thanksgivings that we sat at your table and ate Dinner together and we would still play Skip- Bo again and again. Your personality and demeanor were most explicit because you had a way of doing things that no one else would think about. You were a Godly woman and there were times that you needed me to pray and I was most delighted to know that you wanted me to do it. I will never forget the time that I looked away and my cards were gone, just because you took them. Sarita, Charla I will always remember you. Mother were your Mother and Grandmother, but mines also. Rest well Mother.

Thank you, Mrs. Vinson and family. I remember when Sarita used to invite me to eat lunch at your table on the way from elementary school. This was one of the kindest gestures I received as a child as my mother was often sick. Thank you for being a kind mother. You were a mother to the ones that you birthed and to the ones you did not birth. God give you all peace. Love you all!
