To the King Family: We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of David King. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and friends of the family during this time of great sadness. We look forward to the time period when the many promises of God will become a complete reality for His earthly family. Promises like ridding the earth of all forms of sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3-4) We also look forward to the time when God would use His great powers to restore life back to those who have fallen asleep in death. As the sacred writing states, that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. (John 5:28-29) Really, all today can draw true comfort from this promise because in reality it serves as a personal guarantee from God that our departed loved ones can stand up in life again. That they will once again be reunited back with their many family members and friends. On this day, we can use this time to build up our faith in these loving promises by reading the nine preserved accounts that speaks about the resurrection blessing. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I truly hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses will have great meaning to David, and a great host of others in a very special way. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)

I don't recall speaking with David, but I remember my mother, Mrs. Catherine Hardy Harris, lauded David's gift for playing music at a very young age. May the spirit comfort you and strengthen you with an abundance of his joy in Jesus' name.

I love David like a son. He was friends with my children. During his illness he spent some quality time with my oldest son (Danell Scott). They were like brothers. We are forever grateful for the opportunity we had with David; singing gospel music, and being a good neighbor, and growing up in the community of Sheridan Heights. We are going to miss him dearly. We praise and thank God for David. He touched many lives as he ministered for a season through music at Ark of Safety Baptist Church. He played with the Anointing of Jesus Christ! He will be missed in the body of Christ as he did play in other churches. God bless his soul. For believers, the Bible says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
