Smiley, Mr. Ulysses, Jr, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on November 5, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 12:00Noon from New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Marcus Hunter,Pastor, and Rev. Clarence Varner, Eulogist with a burial following in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
Deacon Smiley will lie in state on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Chapel, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
