To the Johnson Family We are sorry to hear about the passing of Dequan Johnson. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. Yes we acknowledge that these are difficult times for all. Today all can relate to the losing of someone in death. Yes it is just as the scriptures states, that death is our enemy.( 1 Corinthians 15:26) All today can be truly thankful that this enemy death will soon come to it end. From the scriptures, God tell us that He would use His great powers to rid the earth of all sicknesses and death(Revelation 21:3-4) There is another promise that God wants all to be made aware of. That promise deals with the restoring of life back to those who have died.(John 5:28-29) Yes our love ones will have their lives restored back to them. Really we have much to be thankful for from God. Gd has even taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing that will soon take place earth wide. Here is just one such example that is recorded for our comfort at John 11:32-45. I hope that the entire family and friends will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Dequan, and a host of others who await the resurrection blessing from God. So may all please keep this promise near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes a reality. For God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)

I love you more than you could ever imagine. Thanks for all of our memories & laughs. You were probably one of the funniest people I've EVER met in my life. You've impacted my life in more ways than you know. Until we meet again. 🤍 Praying for the strength of your family.

This has been so hard for to come to terms with. One of "my kids" has left this earth before me. That smile of yours would light up any room you walked into. Watching you, Jojo and all of your Prattville teammates in the games made my heart smile because I knew y'all were doing what you loved. I'm so thankful that you came to Jojo's party because with you there that meant that I had the majority of "my kids" all back together in one place and that made this momma's heart happy. Little did we know, that would be the last time we would see you. I told you that I loved you that night and you responded "I love you too ma" and I will forever cherish that moment. I met Quan initially as one of my son Jalon's friends. We found out later we were related. This made them even closer. Quan was one of the most energetic and fun loving kids(they will always be kids to me) to walk through my door. He will forever be in my heart. Auntie(as he called me) Sabrena Morris

It is so hard to put into words what we want to say. What we do know is that you shall see DeQuan again. So right now we pray peace that surpasses all understanding and love that only God can give. Continue to lean on God and trust in Him with all your might.
