Broughton, Mr. Douglas, age 59,
a resident of Montgomery, AL transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00PM from Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Calvin McTier, Ph.D. officiating. Douglas Broughton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many, many, many, people. He never met a stranger and showed generosity to everyone. He was preceded in death by his father Willie John Broughton, mother Eddie Mae Broughton, brother Gene Broughton and sister Chantay Pettaway. He leaves to cherish many, many, many, memories a loving wife of 40 years, Clarissa H. Broughton. Five children: Jermaine, Jennifer, Jerrell (Temikia), Dominique Broughton, and Christopher (Tammie) Hopson all of Montgomery, AL. Nine grandchildren: Antonio McBride, Ameria Powell, JaCoby Broughton, JaMiya Broughton, Jerterius Broughton, Jaliyah Hawthorne, Jayden Broughton, Xiya Broughton, and Jabari Broughton all of Montgomery, AL. Brothers: Jerome Broughton, Wetumpka, AL, Willie Darden, Montgomery, AL, Terry(Mia) Broughton, Wetumpka, AL, James(Rita) Broughton, Montgomery, AL. Sisters: Belinda (Lester) Williams, Chenetta Darden, Debbie Broughton, and Angela(Johnny)Smith all of Montgomery, AL . Brother-in Law: Darryl Hopson, Montgomery, AL. Sisters-in-Law: Angela Underwood, Montgomery, AL, Rita(Charles) Gilchrist, Fayetteville, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, devoted family, friends, and neighbors who loved him dearly. Devoted neighbors and friends, Gwendolyn Terrance, Sandra & Sweet Johnson, Jarvis Robinson, Marvin, Kenny, and AJ & Mary.

He will be missed. His grandkids was his heart and he loved them all. He would do anything for them to keep them happy.
