To Gloria Adams family: I'm her long life friend Cheryl McCall-Calhoun, when I last spoke with Gloria on April the 17th is she informed me that she was at UAB, I never would have thought that it would be my last time that I will hear her soft beautiful angelic voice, Gloria has been inspirational in my life along with many others with her being a nurse and serving at the VA hospital, we grew up together and smiling court as kids and we discuss our kids and all our life services and how we serve the Lord together, we worked out together at planet Fitness, because health was her thing. I thank God for her inspiring me to push on in spite of what your medical condition is, she always reached out all of the 40 something years that I've known her and her family, I pray now for her family that doing this time of bereavement that you have peace and unity because that's what she would like. I send heartfelt prayers to her husband, her children, her grandkids, her brothers and sisters and all of her friends and loved ones; May God continue to bless you, and strengthen you at a time like thisππΎβ€οΈποΈ

I was deeply touched to hear about Gloria's passing. She and I worked together for many years. Gloria always radiated positivity, and we would often call each other for comforting words while we both served as supervisors during the challenging times of COVID. To her family, please take comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes, and as for her VA family, she would definitely.
