My deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Gloria. She was my mentor, my friend, and my nursing coworker. Your phone calls and presence are already missed. I am heartbroken to learn of your passing. Thank you for your guidance, encouragement, and mentorship throughout the years. Your kindness and wisdom touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen your family during this difficult time and give them peace in the days ahead. You will be deeply missed.

I remember the first time I met GLORIA in our 20s, at a time when we were trying our best to navigate successfully through life , and focus on how to shape our future so that the letter end of our life would not only benefit us, but benefit our families ,friends, and even strangers.

The last time I saw GLORIA I was visiting an Elder to help him finish living out his faith, who was living out the remainder of his life in a nursing home off of the Southern Boulevard in MONTGOMERY AL, working part time: I know we hadn't seen each other in approximately 30 years, but as we met and greeted each other, it was as if it was just yesterday, it was so refreshing.

To the Pastor and his family from the heart of the Lord:

Isaiah 57:1-2 KJV "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men (WHICH INCLUDES WOMEN) are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. [2] He(OR SHE) shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his(OR HER) uprightness."

To the beautiful family of the beautiful Gloria Adam's, as part of the Jones girl, and the Iris Lane family I would like to share the fond memory of our sisterhood growing up, going out together, especially prom night, you and my sisters were just stunning. We girls all shared clothes, laughed, and shared the rules of our beautiful mothers strict rules for us being at home at a particular time. These memories will forever stay in my heart.

To my dearest Gloria......... Your departure has been so hard for me to embrace. You were always one of my ROCKS.... You were always the same. You were always sincere and loving. You taught me so many lessons and inspired me to view life from many different perspectives. Your guidance was always welcomed and appreciated. Your laughter was soft, your soul was solid, your friendship was real, and your strength was silent. I remember speaking with you for the last time and your words still echo in my head " love you girl" and my tearful response was " I love you too Gloria". Of all the lessons you taught me, the one lesson that I will take with me forever is the importance of " Unshakeable Faith". Your faith never wavered, your faith was truly unshakeable. You will be loved by me forever..... You will truly be missed. Farewell my dear friend

To Gloria Adams family: I'm her long life friend Cheryl McCall-Calhoun, when I last spoke with Gloria on April the 17th is she informed me that she was at UAB, I never would have thought that it would be my last time that I will hear her soft beautiful angelic voice, Gloria has been inspirational in my life along with many others with her being a nurse and serving at the VA hospital, we grew up together and smiling court as kids and we discuss our kids and all our life services and how we serve the Lord together, we worked out together at planet Fitness, because health was her thing. I thank God for her inspiring me to push on in spite of what your medical condition is, she always reached out all of the 40 something years that I've known her and her family, I pray now for her family that doing this time of bereavement that you have peace and unity because that's what she would like. I send heartfelt prayers to her husband, her children, her grandkids, her brothers and sisters and all of her friends and loved ones; May God continue to bless you, and strengthen you at a time like thisπŸ™πŸΎβ€οΈπŸ•ŠοΈ

Sometimes life doesn't prepare you for the day; I was in state of shock to hear about the devastating news Gloria, my good friend (life long friend) had passed. Gloria was such a beautiful spirit, her laugh and smile alone would brighten up the room. We shared so many moments together from elementary school years into our golden years. Gloria loved the Lord, her family and friends and cherished the time she had with them. I know God said, well done my good and faithful servant when He called her home. I am praying for her husband, children, grandchildren, and siblings. Love you Gloria, rest well my friend, I miss youπŸ™πŸ™

I was deeply touched to hear about Gloria's passing. She and I worked together for many years. Gloria always radiated positivity, and we would often call each other for comforting words while we both served as supervisors during the challenging times of COVID. To her family, please take comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes, and as for her VA family, she would definitely.
