Obituary For Horace Freeman

Master Chief Horace Freeman Jr.(retired) a resident of Charleston, SC formerly of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Calvin McTier, officiating with a burial following in Means Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman will lie in state on Friday, December 9, 2023 from 1-8PM AT Phillips-Riley Funeral Home, and at Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
