To the Grant Family: We are sorry to hear about the recent passing of JoAnn Grant. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this time of great sadness. May all grieving hearts continue to draw tender comfort and mercy from this loving promise from God where He tells us about the grand resurrection hope. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) From this promise from God, our Creator tells us that in the future days to come, that He would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. (John 5:28-29) Yes, from this one text, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would take place. Now this imagine this wonderful promise being applied to JoAnn, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from death. This future arrangement will be made possible because God is the source of life for all living things. (Psalm 36:9) So, even if a person should die, God has the power and the desire to make any person whole again. God wants all to have strong faith in the promised arrangement. So, God has taken the time to preserve nine accounts that speaks about this promised blessing. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses will be applied to JoAnn, and to many others i n a very special way. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
