Hamerter, Mr. Levi, a resident of Las Vegas, NV formerly of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00PM from South Perry Street Church of Christ, Rev. AL Motley, officiating.
Mr. Hamerter will lie in repose on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the church one hour prior to services.
Mr. Hamerter will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Alabama National Cemetery.

I have known the Hamerter family all of my life. When I would run into Junior from time to time in adult life I would call him Jr. then correct myself and call him Levie. He would tell me his family members called him Jr. and then say we are family. He has now joined his parents and siblings that have gone on before him. We knew each other from being little children on Alexander Street. Precious memories. Condolences.
Dad I will never forget how you pushed me to be the best! Your legacy lives on❣️❣️
