Obituary For Mary Shackelford

Shackelford, Mrs. Mary, A resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life on December 28, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00AM from Bryant Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Ronald Moncrief, Pastor, and Pastor Bennie Liggins, Officiating. Burial will follow in Woodley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Shackelford will lie in state on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

So sorry for the family's loss of Mary. She was my friend & people from all over prayed for her health for years. I know she was loved by her family as she told me of wonderful gifts given at birthdays, Mother's Day & other special occasions. She was generous & kind. She appreciated the power of prayer to heal.
