To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Although my earthly heart wishes that you were still here with us Sophia, I know that you are in a far better place. Rest in the arms of Jesus my dear friend and co-worker your labor here on earth is done. I pray strength, peace and comfort for your family during this time. We will miss your bright smile and comforting spirit at the VA.
My heartaches for your family. But I also know you are at peace. May God comfort your family. May your love bring them peace. Sharon hugs to you and your family. With deepest sympathy and prayers. Rest in God’s hands Sophie
Words alone cannot express the depth of what is in my heart. It has been more than an honor to have you as a sister in law & aunt to my children. You were a woman of much poise, great strength & strong Christian character. Your love for your children & family was always at the forefront & that speaks volumes. Although we will miss you dearly here, I know you are at peace resting at home with our Lord and Savior. I vividly recall the day you came to me expressing your desire to be saved & receive the power of the Holy Ghost. After much prayer and tarrying, the evidence of you speaking in tongues came forth & the rest is history. We love you forever! Pat White
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
