Pastor Arthur Lee Jones, a resident of Fitzpatrick, Alabama, departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1649 County Road 36, Mathews, AL 36052, with Rev. Timothy Blakey, Pastor, and Pastor Arnather Baxter, officiating.
Pastor Jones will lie in repose on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 2785 County Road 66, Union Springs, AL 36089, where he served faithfully until his passing. He will also lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

I was saddened to hear about Pastor Arthur Jones. He will be missed. He was a caring and kind person. He always shared a handshake and a hug. I can't forget the smile. When you feel like crying, think of the beautiful memories you shared together. My sympathy is with you.
