My condolences to the Family. I was sad to hear about Pearl. That's how I know her . It has been years since I heard or seen her. But I never forgot her, we used to work together at Russell Mill. I often thought of her and sisters and sister in law. I also know about her brother and when he started to preach. She always was the same and singing was in their soul then. She and them kept on working for God. She work until the end. To everyone else continue to do God's will. That's what she would want I belive. In the name of Jesus you all are Bless. Mrs Pearlie Ann was truly a special person who touched the lives of everyone she met. I would like to share my deepest condolences and sympathy to the Ellis family. I remember Pearlie and the Inspirational Souls from Wetumpka alabama in my very extremely early years. I love to hear them sing. I have preached at Atkins Hill missionary baptist church Wetumpka alabama several times for Rev Judge Stokes was pastoring. I enjoyed the worship experience there with Rev Judge Stokes and Sis Mattie Stokes. I didn't know Ms.Ellis very well but, I'm very familiar with her bro,Pastor W.Ellis from his many trips to Gadsden.I met Ms.Ellis in Sept at her home as I traveled with my sis, Ella, to be with the family during the celebration of life for her daughter. Ms.Ellis was so adorable, loving,kind,a Beacon of light,& I can go on & on.She welcomed us to her home & made us feel right at home. Not once did I feel unwelcome once I got out of the car & touched the grounds where she lived. The moment my sis called & told me..My heart fell apart.I was in disbelief. Don't think of Ann as gone away her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away and think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand.

But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home, when God looked down and smiled at me, He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you" Today your life on earth is past but here life starts anew.

So when tomorrow starts without me don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.

I remember when Miss Pearlie Would come to St. James Holt Crossing and sing. She made a cd and I would advertise it for her during announcements. She gave me a copy of her cd for advertising it. I had just spoken to Ms. Pearlie at the Dollar Tree. I asked her about the singing in Clanton which she was a part of. She just lit up talking about what a spiritual experience it was from beginning to end. So sorry for the loss of your love one. Sincerely, Von Tyus

I remember when My Mother Passed away, Mrs. Ellis was on the phone comforting me. She gave me words of encouragement and told me "if I live my life as God intended, I will see her again." So I utter to you Orlando, your siblings and the rest of the family those same words. Continue living right and you all will see Mrs. Ellis again.
