Obituary For Sayde Thomas-Givens
Givens, Mrs. Sayde, a resident of Marietta, Ga, formerly of Ramer, AL, departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00PM from Phillips-Riley Chapel, Rev. Athena Pitts, officiating, and Rev. Fagale Grant, Eulogist with a burial following in Seek and Follow AME Zion churchyard cemetery.
Mrs. Givens will lie in state on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

I can hear Sayde's voice as I type. I was so excited 17 years ago when I stepped into FUMC daycare and saw Saye! It was confirmation that my baby would be in great hands! Sayde is in great hands with the our Lord; no more aches and pains. My prayer is that God will give comfort and peace to the numerous family and friends touched by her love.
