Obituary For Theodore Sankey
Sankey, Elder Theodore, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Monday, September 7, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 2:00PM from the sanctuary of Word of Life Church, Bishop J.L. Dasher, officiating with a burial following in Eastwood Memorial Gardens.
Elder Sankey will lie in repose on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 1-8PM and Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10-2PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home, and on Sunday at the church one hour prior to services.

Mr. Sankey legacy here on this earth will truly be missed. He was my high school math teacher from G.W. Carver H.S. as well as, my College Professor at ASU. He is a true an example of how you preach your homecoming daily and he has excuted this daily by leading and mentoring to every life he taught and touched.
