Mr. John Ponder, age 65, of Atlanta, Ga/Summerhill Community; passed on October 22, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Pollard and Moore Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Cemetery 2284 Candler Rd. Decatur, Ga. 30032. John is survived by his wife, Glenda Ponder; son, Jonathan Smith; daughter, Jasmine Smith; 3 brothers, L.C. Mann; Dexter Ponder and Felton Ponder. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 11:00am - 7:00pm in our chapel. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 10:30am at the funeral home on the day of the service.
