Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10:00am at Paradise Baptist Church 1711 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy, NW. Atlanta, Ga 30318. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 11:00am - 7:00pm in the chapel of Pollard and Moore Funeral Home. I (Mary) met Lance in the 1990s at the Gospel Music Workshop of America. We immediately became friends during a New Music Seminar. I had the pleasure of introducing him to my husband during his overnight visit in our home when we lived in Richmond, VA. Lance was on his way to New York to visit one of the One Life to Live soap opera characters. She had heard him play the theme song of the broadcast and invited him to New York. Lance was a ONE OF A KIND organist and musician. He will always have an indelible place of love in my heart. Mary J Jackson
