It is with profound sadness I extend condolences to teh family , relatives and friends of our departed Sister Wendy Beresford. She was very instrumental in my life as a young man growing up in West Ruimveldt Guyana. She frequent the Ebenezer Gospel Hall where the late Pastor Melvyn Hunte was Pastor. Together with The Lare Pastor James Roberts , sister Wendy's devotion, intercession and loved paved the way for young ministers of the Gospel. In 2012 she invited me to her residence in Georgetown for a meeting. There she presented me with a Prayer shawl. She indicated that it was the Lord who instructed her to purchase three. These were presented to brother Prim, sister Shreen and myelf. This precisous gift was showere with her frayers for us. She saw the gift of God in us and wante us to know that she was ALWAYS praying for us. At that meeting she commended me as a minister to teh nations. This has become a reality and as I pen these lines I m looking at the precious prayer shawl she presented me . I will forver cherish. There are many other untold experiences with this remarcable woman of God. The generations to come will learn of her and come to saving kknowladge and grace of teh Lord Jesus Christ.

I am thankful to the Lord for knowing sister Wendy, the world is a better place because she once lived here.

My condolences to the family. I met Sis.Wendy many years ago through my late husband Rev. James Roberts. She and my husband sang in a quartet during their youth and maintained their strong friendship through adulthood. She was very loving and supportive to both of us and the ministry. May she rest in eternal peace.

Praying for strength and grace for the family. I still remember all the times the vice president, as my mom called you, grabbed me and prayed and spoke words of life and wisdom to me as a teenager to shape me and pour into my Christian foundation. Today I honor you and will always cherish those memories of you.❤️

I am so sorry to hear about Wendy's passing. I haven't seen her since I left Guyana for the UK back in early February 1962.

Through a mutual friend (Winston Barratt), she and I reconnected briefly by telephone in 2009, and I've been glad I had that chat with her.

She was a very positive person.
