GREEN- Alan Green, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed on February 11, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11AM at Potter's House International Ministries, 5119 Normandy Blvd. Mr. Green's remains will rest for visitation of family and friends on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 3-8PM at the MIXON TOWN CHAPEL of Q. L. Douglas Funeral Home, 2403 Edison Avenue.

Alan, for such a short time your presence have been part of our family. We watch you make our daughter, sister, auntie a very happy during you all's time together. Although we are sad and hurting We are truly thankful for your presence, the talks, you sitting on the floor with your back against the sofa, and the laughter that you have given us. As 2 Timothy 4:7-8 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Alan, you are gone to soon but the candle that is lit reminds us that your light will forever shine so brightly.

You will truly truly be missed you were a genuine person that touched so many lives and you were very selfless person and the company you kept especially your friends they were as well Ive never ever met a group of people so genuine I know you have a special place in heaven I guess all I'm trying to say is I'm glad to have known a person like you and it's tears of joy because I know you have gained your wings it will be hard letting go but if I dwell to long give me a tap upside my head so I can get right lol I know you wouldn't want us sitting around sad for too long you may be gone but never ever forgotten
