Arthur Brooks, aka Good Boy was a great inspiration to me from childhood as Grandma Daisy kept him on task and supported us both during my summer visits from Florida. Love you Cousin and wish I had known earlier of your struggles. We last spoke by phone a couple of months ago and I will remember that short conversation forever. God Bless! Po Pa thank you for stepping up and loving me for 32 years! Showing me the example of hardwork and dedication!

Thank you for being honest with me even when it hurted! Those lessons taught me so much!

I know God took care of you for helping me become the woman I was created to be!

You held my hand until I was able to stand alone! Blood couldn't make our bond stronger!

I'll never forget you! I will never forget the days I had to live with you until I was able to get into my own place!

I love you pops, that's why I'm always calling to telll you every chance I get! That's why I hadn't returned to corrections because you were real with me and told me long ago to cut the bs out and live according to who you knew I could be! Thank you Po pa! For that I'm forever indebted to you! You are my hero! I promise to keep focused and accomplish every goal I set out to complete when I left Jax and came to Texas!

I apologize for not listening earlier on, but I definitely learned those valuable lessons from you and your wise counsel!

But I tell you one thang Po pa you and Mema taught me a lot, but not how to live without y'all!

You always tell me we all gon leave, I just need more time with both of y'all on Huron baking cookies eating sugar rice and opening Christmas presents!

Good times Po pa in the back yard burning oranges, paper, and whatever we can throw in the fire to keep the mosquitos away! Shooting beer cans, running out side with bare feet! You cutting the backs off my favorite sneakers when I outgrew them! You catching me smoking and lecturing me, you were so mad at me😔 I love you Po pa you was right about everything come to me Po pa don't forget me. Please understand I wasn't this strong 8 years ago I didn't understand the concept as much as I do now thank you for listening to me vent, around this time of year it gets so hard for me
