🕊️Ms.Barbara will certainly be missed,🌹 I met her around 2014, She introduced me to the fla theater, and the Ritz theatre,we clicked right then,having the time of our life we became friends ever since, we would go out to different restaurants,go shopping in st augustine & jacksonville,Then sometimes Ms. Barbara & I would go to movies together, flea markets in st augustine & in Jville And house parties in Daytona bch fl.What a wonderful time we had together, just enjoying each other & life, I will truly miss my bestie,she was a sweetheart & caring person,had so much fun working with her @ Dcf.from Emerson to Arlington expressway, what a beautiful soul RIH Mrs. Barbara you are the wind beneath my wings Our Condolences James & Doris sheppard Smith🕊️🌹

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Barbarann. She was a kind, gentle, and witty woman, and I will always cherish our lifelong friendship, as well as the time we shared working together at the DOT. I find comfort in imagining her joyful reunion with our beloved Aunt Gladys.

Growing up I could always visit Aunt Barbara. Her gentle spirit and soft spoken guidance will always be with me. I cherish the fun we had traveling and hanging out together. Each visit filled with laughter and love. May she Rest in Peace.

Janet I pray the Lord comfort and strengthen you during this time. As the days move on I pray your tears turn into smiles as you reflect on the precious years you have shared with your dear mother.

I met Miss Smith in person a little over a year ago when I was her caregiver; however, I feel as though I have known her for over 30 years, as long as her daughter and I have been friends. She often shared heartfelt family stories with me. When I finally met Miss Barbara, she made me feel truly comfortable and welcome in her home. I will dearly miss her one-liner jokes, her laughter, her singing, her dancing, her love for Burger King burgers, her Tootie Roll Pops, and how slowly she eats her food. But I will always cherish the more serious moments we shared. She would always speak fondly of her love for her girls and her deep appreciation for their care and support. I am grateful to have been part of her life during her later days. I told her how much she meant to me and how deeply I loved her. She will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.
