I am sad to hear of the passing of my friend of over 40 years. Chris was a real friend that was always positive and uplifting. You will be missed my friend. Your mission here is done. God speed my friend.

Peace, my cousin I can't say I know the amount of suffering in your heart, but as wise words and prophecy, have taught me that there are no pains and aches that people can understand and neither can they comfort you the way Allah God can and does

So the older I get the more I understand that God is all mighty and God is all wise, so seek refuge to his understanding to get you through. I love you and I'm here for you. I've known Chris to be an exceptional great man, a model father, husband, grandfather, friend and co-worker. He loved you Cathy, his son's, grandchildren and his family, friends and co-workers. He always showed concern for me, the girls and my grandchildren. I appreciated him so much for that. He always asked about them, and checked on how they were doing. I will surely miss him engaging with our conversations me and had on a daily working from home! He would always ask if we were going to do some work today, lol. He would hear us complain about how sick and tired we was with working and threatening to quit everyday, lol. Those are some of the special memories I will always hold near and dear to my heart. I will really miss you Chris! But, I do feel in my heart and soul, he will still be watching over Cathy and his family just as I've always known him to do! Dear Jackson Family, I am saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved. Please accept me and my family's deepest condolences during your bereavement. Our prayer is that God will comfort you as only He can right now. On a personal note, let me say that I regret not having the opportunity to meet, shake the hand or give a hug to Chris. Even so, I came to know and love him through you, Yvonne and Reatha. In every picture or video that I've seen of him was of him with his love on display, while he looked on adoringly at you guys. And I don't think that there's not enough character space for me to cover all the accolades he got from his mother in-law. She loved him too. So yes, I did know him! A kind of prototype, a model son, husband, father and son in-law. A God-fearing man who was a friend to many, and a stranger to none. We too will miss him and grieve with you. I was so stunned when I heard of Chris passing. Chris was a sweet and gentle person! We worked together for a long time. One of the things I loved about Chris he was a devoted worker on the Savannah docks! He will be greatly missed! May God comfort your hearts 💕 and minds as time goes by without him! Love you!

Chris was more than a coworker, he was also my friend. Chris had a special way of lifting our spirits with a simple joke or kind words of hope that would make the room light and that warmth would always stay with us. He taught us that a simple joke can change our entire day. His legacy of kindness and laughter is something we will never forget. I've known Chris my entire life(PST). He was one of those people that you couldn't be sad around for long. He didnt let you gossip or talk down about others in his presence. He didnt talk long but always made you understand you mattered and held purpose. God really did a great job with him. Thank you to his family for sharing him with the world. We appreciate it. It won't be the same without him but I know joyous memories filled with laughter will carry you forward. Praying for you always.

My sincerest condolences go out to the family. I've known Chris since 2001 when we started working for the USPS. He was a good man. He was always in a good mood. He kept me laughing at work. I could always count on a happy mother's day, merry Christmas, etc text from him every year. I'm gonna miss him dearly.

Chris lived a good life. Chris fought a good fight. Now the battle is over. He is with the Lord, cherish the memories, hold them dear to your heart. Chris your smile was infectious, family I was with him on the 24th and witnessed his continuous strength. What a man's man he was, and an example for many to follow. Chris never suffered in his life and certainly told the Lord enough is enough take me home to heaven. This man loved everyone, especially his family, Cat he loved you without limits. Thank you Chris for our daily communication, God gave us you for a wonderful time and season. Cat and family I love you guys, lean on one another but God the most.

My sincerest condolences are being sent to the family members and friendds of Chris Jackson .. I served with him in the U.S Navy in Norfolk, Virginia in the 1980's .. His fellow sailors lovingly called him "Big Top" and Chris made it his duty to call each of his close Navy friends at least monthly that he was in contact with just to check on us .. I am in Baltimore, Maryland .. The other friends in our small group of friends is Reginald Byrd (Virginia), James Wright (Jacksonville, Florida) and Allen Whitney (Maryland) . .We all loved Chris and the news of his passing on 11/25/25 touched us all .. I grew up with Chris in East St. Louis, IL we remained friends through the many years! It broke my heart to hear of Chris passing I know he's resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
