Oh my Lamb of God, I'm just deep in disbelief. 😠Auntie I can't fathom any part of this being true! This is much harder to accept than I ever imagined. 😠You will always be remembered as the "DIVA", (with the mouth). Your style, your flair, you ability to not hold back anything, resonates with any and all who ever met you! Your Alabama country cooking will always stay with me. 😋 I remembered how they came from miles around whenever they heard that your chittlins we're on the stove. Your homemade biscuits used to be so light, (seemed like they floated in the air to our plates)! Crabs??? Wow! What is there to say, flavorful without the heat! Your multicolored candied apples from scratch! You barbecuing on New Year's Eve regardless of the weather! Your sweet potato pies, I can go on and on!!! Every dish was a delectable delight! As I am reflecting and crying ðŸ˜, I'm also remembering all the talks, the hugs, the necessary cussing us out ( hard headed children). The beautiful plants that you cultivated. You did it and said it your way, but you always kept it real with any and everybody. I'm so thankful for all the life lessons and memories that I have with you. I can do hair because of you. Between you and my momma Mae Lois, the ability to tell it like it is, with and/or without filter is why I too keep it real! You're now resting from your earthly works and rejoicing in your heavenly rewards! Say hi to Deborah, Tuitee, Joyce, Cassandra, Reyuan, momma and if I've missed anybody's name.......them too! I'm so glad that we got a chance to enjoy the Grand Diva Ball that was planned and was given in the honor of the 3 daughters of Pinkie Lee Jones. We must've talked about the crowning 👑 of you and all the fun that was had by all in attendance, Everytime we talked, you talked about that Ball! 🥳. I am pleased in knowing that God is pleased with receiving your soul! I love you Auntie and I now leave you in the arms of Jesus. 😇
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
