Sending my condolences to the family of Duncan Jackson, Jr. I met Duncan and Jimmy Jackson many years ago when he and his brother would come down to New Berlin to eat seafood. We were always saying to the brothers that you better be nice to the girls because you are on a dead end street and if you were to cross any girl and their brothers found out if they block the street off the other way out was the river and no one had a boat to escape in, so they knew that they had to be nice if they wanted to get back home. I can said whenever I was to see Duncan he always had a smile on his face. He got along with everyone. GOD HAS GAIN ANOTHER ANGEL!!
I met Duncan February, 1988. He had been working for a neighbor down the street when I walked down to meet him. I was 7 months pregnant with our second child and my husband knew nothing about tools or yards! I asked Duncan if he had any time for one more yard? Of course he did. Over the years we became very good and close friends. We always said "I got your back!" Duncan always had my back. He helped me through many ups and downs through the 38 years. Duncan had many ups and downs as I did and we helped each other. The hardest part was when my Husband passed away suddenly from a brain bleed, Duncan checked on me everyday. My husband and I had our condo for sale, when my husband passed, our I sold the condo. Before I purchased my current home I took Duncan over to see the house and the yard to ask him what he thought? He said "We can do this"..... and we did.
When we hit a hard time we could always count on each other. He was the most giving man I knew, most helpful at any time of day or night. He will be greatly missed by many and loved by all. We said we were as close as family could be without the same blood. I will miss him terribly. Keep watching over us Duncan ❤️. Susan
