E.B. Long, thanks brother... for the smiles, laughs, and conversations. You're the only "Swat Kat" that can "make a bullet merge to oncoming traffic"...what great skill you displayed with a rifle. May God provide peace and comfort to your family and friends. T.L.
Eric Long and I worked together with JSO in Zone 5 for many years. He was a leader, motivator, mentor, and a Field Training Officer for our squad. Eric made work fun, we had many laughs together. I will truly miss the phone calls and texts. "Swat Kat" rest easy my friend. Long family stay encouraged. God bless each of you!

Mr. Eric was one of my step dad's dearest friends. He was always funny, had a smile on his face and just was a cool person. I'm keeping Mr. Eric's children, family, and friends in my deepest prayers. May God comfort them now and always. If there is anything I did know about Mr. Eric.. was that he LOVED his children and was very proud to be a grandpa.
I will miss you brother we went to the Navy together on a buddy pass RIP
My prayers and condolences to my dear friend Chandra and the Long family. May God bring you comfort during this time and allow the loving memories of your brother to live in your hearts forever

My dear friend Eric and I were friends from grade school to high school. Playing street football and basketball all hours of the day. I'm glad I was able to speak to you on the phone and laugh with you. Will never be forgotten. Love you man.

My BROTHER, neighbor, classmate, my FRIEND. After 60 years - what do you say? We played together. We ate together. We got fussed out by our parents together. We fought each other. We cried together. We grew up together. We dreamed about our futures together. We saw each other have, raise, and support our families together (the miles between us didn't matter). My Brother - my Family. After 60 years what do you say? Tony Outley & Family
I worked with Eric on and off through the years and he and I were on the same squad until I left the street. Eric always had a smile and was always thinking up funny things - he loved to tease our supervisor all the time to get us all laughing! That was the best squad I ever worked with in my career and I will always carry the memories of that time - Rest in Peace Eric - Heavenly Father I pray that you hold his family and friends extra close during this difficult time.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
