Funeral Service will be held 11AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 281 E. 44th Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32208. Ms. Young's remains will rest for visitation of family and friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4-7PM at The MIXON TOWN CHAPEL of Q. L. Douglas Funeral Home, 2403 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32204.

Our hearts were saddened to learn of Jackie's passing (China Girl). In 1965, our families connected and began a lifelong friendship (our mothers were the very best of friends). We will truly miss 'China' and her loving and caring spirit. We will continue to keep the entire Phillips and Young Families uplifted in prayer.
