How can I say goodbye to my cousin that was a sister to me before I actually had sisters of my own? Joann Gregory....we shared so much in life growing up on the Eastside of Jacksonville. I still recall as kids when you would follow me and I would try to chase you back home because I didn't want a girl tagging along with me. Now you have gone on to be with the rest of the family: Sam Thomas, Ivola Thomas, Aunt Beulah, Aunt Lois, Aunt Helen, Uncle J.D., Aunt Dorothy, Sing, Snookie, Betty Jean, Little Essie, Willie Mae, Frank, and your father Ben Gregory. Momma this day came far too soon. You prepared me for this day and I'm still not ready. You are beautiful inside and out . You are an amazing mom! The last three days I spent with you was definitely a blessing from God. We still kick Covid butt because you won by resting in the arms of Jesus. Mommy I love you so much and the last 3 days of your life was spent with laughter and peace because you were able to tell all of your family you love them.
