I realized after posting my message that my sisters and I made a mistake and confused two of our uncles. The memories we mentioned were actually of a different uncle, and we're sorry for the confusion. Our condolences to the family during this difficult time. May God be with you.

Uncle Levern, you were a joy to spend time with last year during our unexpected trip to North Carolina. You will truly be missed and I wish we all (my sisters Tiff and Steph) could have had more time to catch up since our mom shared lots of stories about you. Rest in Heaven.

Uncle Levern, although under unfortunate circumstances, it was a true pleasure to reconnect with you at the beginning of last year. We shared memories, old family stories, and even got in a few steps on the "dance floor." While I wish I had more time to ask you questions about your life and our family, I will always cherish the time we had together. Rest peacefully, Uncle Levern. You will be remembered fondly.
