Service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2024, at Glorious Hope Primitive Baptist Church. It is located at 215 Cotton Avenue, Marshallville, Georgia 31057. Burial will follow at New Phillip Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. It is located at 1759 Highway 224, Montezuma, Georgia 31063. He is survived by his wife, Elois Rice; children, Melissa "Lisa" Beckett (Tookes), Anthony Rice and Ebony Rice; siblings, Willie Rice (Gervonn), Betty Mann (Milton), Eugene Rice (Gloria), Helen Anthony (William), Mary Summers, Magdalene Williams (James), Lillie Ogburn (Otis), Carrie McWhorter (Artis), Mary Dodson (Sam), Barbara Jolly (Lanorris), Lizzie Rice (George), Shirley Horton and Darryl Rice; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing hours will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
