Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 04, 2023, at Brown Chapel CME Church Cemetery. It is located at 2380 Brown Chapel Road, Perry, GA 31069. He is survived by his wife, Lementha Rogers; children, Roy Rogers Jr., Shawn Rogers, Ashley Rogers (Michael), Brandi Rogers ;siblings, Rosa Sheto, Louise Rogers, Estella Clartington, Lawerence Rogers (Elnora) and Tony Rogers; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing hour will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Friday, March 03, 2023. Masks are required for all Professional Services.

Another limb has fallen from the Rogers Family Tree but Roy's memories will forever be. I remember the times when Roy would come to Atlanta to pick me up to bring me back to Perry. I know for sure Christmas & summer breaks but it seemed as though it was any time school was out. Not once did I never heard him complain. I am blessed to have known Uncle Roy his memory lives forever in my heart. Rest in Peace Uncle. ~Patricia Rogers-Shorter
