Obituary For Charles "Mr. Red " Robinson

Charles "Mr. Red" Robinson, 90, departed this life on April 16, 2021. He was born on December 17, 1930. He married Dorothy Mae Moore.

He held several jobs during his life: cook, grocery store worker, and pogie fisherman. Prior to retiring from Corning Glass, he worked at Quaker Oats.

Charles "Mr. Red" Robinson was a member of the Free Will Pentecostal Church in Moss Point, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Robinson and granddaughter Cytonia Robinson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at the Robinson's Friendly Funeral Chapel, 4301 Main Street, Moss Point. MS. The viewing is followed by a graveside service at Scranton Cemetary in Pascagoula, MS.

My heart is heavy today (7-18-21) to find out the passing of my mother's dear cousin "Dollpie". When I tell you that he loved family trust me. He and the love of his life, Dot would come to Mobile on their Sunday afternoon rides and visit my parents. Mr. Red as his fiends in Moss Point called him was a man of God. Everything had a rhyme. Rest peacefully my dear cousin, I love you, but I know that you are having a celebration in heaven. I will miss our chats!!!

I'm already missing our rides from Dialysis laughing and counting the hoop boys Rest in peace daddy

Old Mr. Robinson. He would come by the office and see Mr. Floore and say hello to all of us employees. It didn't matter where I saw him in town, at the store, or at the office he was always the same happy positive person with the booming voice and big smile. RIP Mr. Robinson.
