Obituary For John Patterson Reed
Sadly, John Patterson Reed, Jr. passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, age of 59 years at his home in Pascagoula, Mississippi. John was born on August 20, 1962, in Bradenton, Florida. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Upon graduation, John enlisted in the Navy and trained at the US Navy Training Center in Great Lakes, Illinois. He was stationed aboard the USS Spruance DD 963 from 1981 to 1987.
After leaving the Navy, John was a Senior Engineer Test and Trials at Huntington Ingalls Industries and a Test and Trial Electrical Lead at V. T. Halter Marine in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife, Natasha Reed, a son Patrick Reed (Joey), his mother Marlene Dickinson, his father John Reed (Daleen), brothers David Reed (Debi), Joe Reed (Teresa), stepbrothers Allen Spillman (Diane), Troy Spillman, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
