Obituary For Mrs Frances J. Crawford Abney
Mrs. Frances J. Crawford Abney, 90, an esteemed resident of Moss Point, Mississippi, transitioned on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. She was born in Biloxi, MS.
The viewing is from 4 pm until 6 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020, and Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 10:30 until 11:30 am at the Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel located at 4301 Main Street Moss Point, Ms. 39563. The Saturday viewing is followed by a 12 pm graveside service at the First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Escatawpa, MS.
~~~ Masks and Social Distancing~~~ are required to attend viewings and graveside service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Abney, Sr., son Alvin L. Abney, Jr., grandsons, Alvin "Dap" L. Abney, III and Marcus E. Abney, parents, Robert and Mercedes Crawford, Sr., siblings Edward Crawford, Robert Crawford, Jr., and Irma Crawford Reed.
Frances was a housewife and entrepreneur. She was a sales representative for Lucky Heart and Avon. She was also an insurance agent for Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home for over 40 years, until her health began to fail. Frances is well known as the "Avon and insurance lady."
