Obituary For Sonya LaTrice Brown
Ms. Sonya LaTrice Brown, affectionately known as BOO, received her heavenly wings on January 8, 2022. She was born on January 16, 1973, to Linda Brown and Timothy(Norma) Nelson Sr. of Moss Point, Mississippi.
She was the proud mother of two sons whom she loved dearly, Corbin DeShawn Crockett and Charles Ray Crockett Jr. both of Moss Point, MS.
Her memories will forever live within her siblings, devoted sisters Khayla (Roderick) Hannah, Erica Nelson, and Ashunda (Octavius) Stewart and brothers Carlos Brown, Timothy Nelson Jr., Tyrone Shannon, and Anthony Shannon, and her loving companion Michael Carter, and devoted friends Tikila Jones, Erica Poindeter-Leflore, Felecia Hyde, Billy Peairs, Carola Carter, Sharon Sanders, and Barbara Triplett
The public viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel, 4301 Main Street, Moss Point, MS, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2021, at 11:00 am. in the Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Nelson officiating.
A graveside service follows at the Scranton Cemetery, 3400 Brooks Street, Pascagoula, MS.
