Words could never say how I feel about Ernie and Eric. Been knowing them for over 50 years. Back in the day we all thought of Mr McMillan as a hero as one who came out to help teach us the game of football. Later on in life his son who is our brother would be a hero to all of us who played with him. DStill
Wish to extend my deepest condolences and blessings to Big Ernie's family. I knew Ernie . He was a great man who made the community better by his presence and personal achievements. Ernie was a StLouis Treasure, one of our beloved Big Red warriors, world class offensive Tackle who was Hall of FAme material, a dedicated coach to Kirkwood youth football for years and more. I was a fan and enjoyed watching Ernie's outstanding play for the Big Red. Last saw Ernie approx 2 years ago . He was sitting in a booth at Sawmill restaurant by Himself. I asked if I could sit and Big Ern said sure. Ernie was warm , friendly and smart. I enjoyed our extended comversation. We have lost a great one to heaven. Gone but not forgotten. Rest in Peace Big Ernie. Dave Uthoff. Fan
