Mrs. Bertha Ponder, a resident of Montgomery, Al., passed away October 14, 2023. A funeral service will be held October 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in Betholonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ramer, Alabama.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My mother in law was a very strong, sweet, quiet and loving woman. She loved God and her family very much. The matriarch is gone physically but her spirit lives on. You're in my prayers family as we continue this life without Mrs. Bertha Ponder.
