My dear friend Cynthia was such a beautiful and warm person of which I had the pleasure of meeting 20 years ago at church. She was genuine, talented, and a woman of God. I admired her so much. My last time seeing her was at a birthday party, I sat at the table with her, she talked about her son and his family of whom she was very proud of. We've created many memories together, when I think of her, I will reach into the memory bank and smile. May God bless the family🙏🏾
Condolences with God's Grace and Mercy The Harris Family. Dr. Harris prayed for me at UAB Hospital May of 2014. I am truly grateful for her words of recovery. Hornet Antoinette Robinson
Prayers and condolences for family and friends. Cynthia and I go back 50 years Colony St and Clearview Heights. She was my friend, an anointed woman of God and awesome professor at ASU in writing Lab and Honors program. She loved her students. She was social butterfly in Montgomery religious and academics circles. She was instrumental in getting my wife job at ASU. We talked often always including God in all our conversations. Dr. Harris, you served as Vice President of the National Association of African American Honors Programs while I served as president during the year of COVID-19, 2019-20. I will always remember the deep spirituality you brought to our Executive Committee meetings. Your always positive attitude constantly lifted me and, I'm sure, our members too. You left us while serving as National President. You will be sorely missed. —Dr. Kenneth E. Jones, Past President, NAAAHP
