Ms. Dorothy Mae Yelder a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away August 19, 2021. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 5680 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117. To treasure her memory, she leaves two devoted daughters, Dorothy Y. Welcome, Lea (Gerald) McCall, both of Montgomery, AL, four loving sons, Joseph Yelder, Hamilton, NJ, David C. (Barbara) Yelder, George A. Green and Timothy J. Yelder all of Montgomery, AL; one very special sister Carrie Y. Rollins. Her precious grandchildren who she loved so dearly, LaShasta (Cedric) Sankey, Mathews, Al, Twanda Benson, David C. Yelder Jr., Courtney (Ndubisi) Okoye, Detroit, MI, Thomas A. Green, Montgomery, AL, Jacob A. McCall, Houston, TX and Jonathan A. McCall, Montgomery, AL, great grandchildren, Tyler Williams and Naomi Okoye. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friends, Betty Barnes, Dorothy Taylor and Ruthie Calhoun.
