Dr. Ella Mae Oliver "Baby Ruth" a resident of Montgomery, AL expired April 17, 2020. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church, Pike Road, AL. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Left to cherish her memories and bountiful legacy are her two children who meant the world to her, Desiree M. Jackson, Montgomery, AL; and Robert L. Oliver Jr., Jamaica Queens, NY; a devoted son-in-law, Gregory K. Jackson Sr., Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren who were the apple of her eye, Gregory K. Jackson Jr., (Charette), Temple City, CA; Robert L. Banks, Durham, NC; Brittany C. Jackson, Montgomery, AL; Paige A. Oliver, Brooklyn, NY; Saniyah C. Oliver and Shatanna Scharoun both of Jamaica Queens, NY; three great grandchildren, Robert L. Banks Jr., Adonis L. Banks and Gisselle E. Banks all of Durham, NC; one loving and special brother whom she adored to death Dave Lewis, Las Vegas, NV; five sisters-in-law, Hester Lewis, Las Vegas, NV; Juanita Tate, Sun City West, AZ; Sadie Jones, Cambria Heights, NY; Delores Johnson, Oakland, CA; and Louise Williams, Harrisburg, PA; three very devoted nieces, Diane Brisbon, and Shirley Ann Hardmon both of Montgomery, AL; and Jackie Grace, Dickinson, TN; two very devoted nephews, Clinton Lewis Sr., and Adolph Burton, both of Montgomery, AL; four devoted cousins, Joe Lewis, Alfreda Murdock-Williams, Mary Joe Bonner, Cheryl Wilson and three devoted cousins who were just like sisters, Emma Brown, Louise Grant and Anne Tate all of Montgomery, AL; her best friends of over 40 years whom she stayed on the phone with Eugenia White, Stone Mountain, GA; and Carrie Turner, Detroit, MI; her road buddy, Jennie Lewis-Elston; The Seth Johnson Community, Willie and Pat Townsend, Mary and Cecil Jones, Jeanette and Freddy Williams, Marcus and Cindy Townsend and their son whom she adored like a grandson, Sandy Morris and Corey Harvey.
