To the Menefee Family I would like to take this time to express my personal condolences to the family of Jeanette Menefee. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of great sorrow. To all grieving hearts we say please continue to draw true comfort from this loving promise from God. In this promise, God tells us that in the very near future, that He would use His great powers to restore life back to those who have died.( John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15. We understand that for now, you hearts are filled with great sorrow, seeing that you have lost someone special in death. However from the above promise, God is giving all grieving hearts His personal promise that life will be restored back to a great host of people who have fallen asleep in death. Yes as the scriptures reveal, God loves the world of mankind so much, that he gave His son as a ransom that we can live again. (John 3:16) Today, we can continue to build our faith in this promise by reading all nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded so that we may draw true comfort from God. It is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to your love ones in a personal way. So may all please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. ( Titus 1:2)
