I an deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Feagin's passing. He and Mrs. Feagin were 2 of my mom and dad's closest friends. They came by the house whenever I was home to check on me after the passing of my mom, my sister, and my dad. Mr Feagin did all of the beautiful artwork in my mom's den. To the family of John Feagin.I was deeply saddened to hear that Mr.Feagin had transitioned several days ago. Mr. Feagin was my Art teacher at G. W. Carver Middle and High School. He was one of my best teacher, during my tenure at Carver. He was one teacher whose talent was loved by all in his class. To that end, he taught us everything he knew. He was always kind, soft spoken, and encouraged us to excel, not just in Art, but all of our academic courses. I recalled his encouraging me because he saw that I enjoyed working on murals for the holidays. And, he found out that my mother loved to bake sweet potato pies for the holidays. Well, he would come over to me and ask if my mother had any pies left over. She would always send him a pie for the holiday. Now, he will rest with her and my dad in Heavenly peace. Mr. Feagin will be sorely missed. With saddness, Willie Maye Reeves Armstrong, M.Ed, Retired Educator. Florence, NJ. H
