Ms. Kawanis Tiyanca Hall, a resident of Montgomery, AL., passed away April 29, 2022. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ross-Clayton Funeral Home. FACE MASK REQUIRED. Burial will follow in Eastwood Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Kawanis Tiyanca “KeKe” Hall was born May 13, 1976; to Ms. Fretta Jean Hall and Mr. Dan Scott in Montgomery, AL at St. Margaret hospital. Kawanis was educated at Jefferson Davis High school. For many years, Kawanis worked as a cashier in retail throughout the city. It was no surprise that someone would recognize her throughout the city and greet her with open arms. Kawanis had a kind & giving spirit, sharp tongue, and was very quick witted. She prided herself on making sure her family & friends were taken care of in any way she possibly could. She was extremely proud and protective of her 4 grandbabies, those of which she absolutely adored beyond words. Kawanis enjoyed life to the fullest and gave laughter to all she met. Kawanis was a devoted Mother, sister, and Niece. She was preceded in death by Jessie Hall (Grandfather), Wilma Jean Fitzpatrick-Hall (Grandmother), Fretta Jean Hall (Mother), and Dan Scott (father). She leaves to cherish her memories four children and four (Grandchildren); Corey Hall, Kimberly Tellis (Keshon Smith), Kalandria Tellis (Ka’Ziyah Mack), and Alvis Tellis (Ariyah & Alijah Tellis). Three aunts, three uncles, two sisters and one brother; Vonda Hall-Byrd (Montgomery), Andrea (Samuel) Hall Colvin-Cole (Montgomery), Sonya (Jimmy) Hall-Curry (Montgomery), Edmund (Sandra) Hall (Montgomery), Zachary (Patricia) Scott (Montgomery), Ronnie (Brenda ) Scott (Montgomery), Alisaya (Authur) Dixon (Montgomery), Shannon Scott (Montgomery), Dan (Veronica) Scott Jr., Twanda Williams (Best Friend) and a host of cousins.
