Words cannot adequately express the feelings of sorrow that we have for the Johnson family at this time. Our families had the privilege of being friends and neighbors for more than fifty years. The old neighborhood of Troy Street and Clark Street gave way to our new homes on Hill Street in the 1950s. The memories of those years, growing up together will forever bring smiles to our faces. RIP Matilda. The Family of Charlie and Bessie Varner, Montgomery, Alabama
