Condolences to the family from a former school mate.
To the Nettles Family We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Clarence Nettles. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family. During this time period, there is a need to be on the receiving end of get words of great comfort. I know that many will be there for you. But we must also remember that God will also be there for us. As the scriptures reveal to us, that God is a God of tender mercy and comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) On this day God is telling the Nettles Family, and many other families about the future restoring of life. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. As the text states, that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Did you know that from the reading of these verses, that God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would surely take place. This is surely not something that is impossible for God to do. The scriptures reveal that God is the source of life for all things. (Psalm 36:9) Yes, even if a person dies, God has the power and the desire to make any person whole again. To assist all grieving hearts to develop strong faith in this future blessing, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand resurrection blessing soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these wonderful verses will be applied to those who have fallen asleep in death. So, may all grieving hearts please allow the scriptures to provide true comfort to our grieving hearts. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
